Energy Performance Certificates (EPC's)
Introduced to help improve the energy efficiency of buildings and to provide protential home owners and tenants information on how energy efficient a property is.
Since 2008 there has been a legal requirement for home owners or landlords wishing to sell or let a property to obtain an EPC from an accredited energy assessor. Valid for up to 10 years EPCs rate a property's energy efficency on a scale from A to G with A being the most efficient and G being the least. Currenlty the average rating is D.
The Property Centre offer a service to all home owners and landlords wishing to market a property.
