House Prices Around Your Area

The average price of properties sold in April 2026 shows a positive trend across Gloucester, Cheltenham and Stroud compared to March 2026, with Worcester showing a minor decrease.

The patch covered by our Abbeymead branch saw the highest number of new listings in Gloucester, with our Quedgeley branch defying the patch trend and bringing more properties to the market in April.

In addition, our Quedgeley branch sold one in every three properties sold in April, followed closely by Tuffley, which sold one in every four properties sold. With the rest of our Gloucester branches holding the highest market share in their respective areas, we continue to be the top-selling agent in Gloucester.

Average property prices in Cheltenham rose significantly in March, with April following suit. With new listings having decreased at twice the rate of sales agreed, it's worth considering getting an updated property valuation if you're thinking of a move this year. Your home may be worth more than you think.

With an incredible boom of almost 5%, Stroud showed the highest increase from March to April. New listings continued to exceed sales agreed by a considerable amount, with our office seeing a higher percentage increase than the patch average.

WR1 and WR2 saw a huge number of properties listed in April, exceeding the 443 that came to the market in March. However, sales agreed decreased, increasing buyers' choice and leading to a slight decrease in average property prices.

A parallel trend occurred in the rest of Worcester, with the gap between new listings and sales agreed almost doubling. This means it's more important than ever to get an accurate valuation to ensure a successful sale.

The average house prices above relate to the areas covered by The Property Centre only, comparing 01/05/25 to 31/04/2026 against 01/05/2024 to 31/04/2025 (data source Rightmove).
