With local rents rising quickly, a valuation from 2025 may already be letting you down. Stay up to date with the latest local rental prices from September 2026.

As we enter the final months of 2026, now's a good time to check what your rental property could be earning.

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) reports that average rents across Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stroud and Worcester are all rising faster than their regional averages.

In September 2026, the ONS recorded annual rental growth of 4.2% in the South West. While the West Midlands grew by 4.4%, compared with September 2025.

Cheltenham’s rental growth has climbed 1.8% since our last update, to 6.1%. Gloucester and Stroud are seeing similar growth at 6.8% and 6.5% respectively. While Worcester has climbed from 4.8% to 6.1%, matching Cheltenham.
