Looking forward to May? Here are some events happening around Worcestershire that the whole family can enjoy, showcasing the best of our local areas.

1st May

Celebrate Worcestershire's local produce at the Make It Worcestershire Food Fair. Meet your favourite makers, try some of the best local produce and learn the tricks of the trade at this family-friendly event.

Alcohol, as well as tea and coffee, will be available on-site.

Opens at 10:30 am at Bells Farm Shop.

23rd May

GWSR Diesel Enthusiast Day 

Do you have any train enthusiasts in your family? GWSR is hosting a Diesel Enthusiast Day where train lovers can book their own socially distanced table or cubical to enjoy an 84-mile round trip through the countryside. Be sure to book in advance to avoid disappointment and remember to stretch your legs at the Broadway Café which will be open between 11 am and 3 pm.

From 17th May

Having reopened in April, West Midlands Safari Park will begin welcoming back visitors to their daily animal talks and shows, VR ride and Dr. Umboto’s Catacombs as of 17th May. Enjoy the full wildlife experience by booking your tickets in advance.

22nd - 23rd May

Evesham May Medieval Market

Step back into the 5th century at Evesham’s annual free May Medieval Market Weekend. Perfect for the whole family, visitors can enjoy weapon demos, music, arts and crafts tents and food carts. All funds go towards running the Battle of Evesham Festival -  England's Largest Annual c13th Battle Re-enactment.

28th – 31st May

Worcestershire Mello Festival

Have you missed that festival feeling? Taking place at Severn End Country Estate, the Mello Festival is the perfect chilled-out fest that combines fantastic music with breathtaking views of the Malvern Hills.
