House Prices Around Your Area
Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stroud & Worcester all saw an increase in the average price of the property sold in June 2026 compared to May 2026.
Gloucester saw a 14% increase in the number of properties sold, specifically in Longlevens and Tuffley, who recorded the highest increases since June last year.
The areas of Churchdown and Tuffley saw the largest increases in average property prices, so if you're thinking of selling here, now could be an excellent time to get an expert valuation.
June had the highest average property price for Cheltenham this year, increasing considerably from May. While the patch added fewer properties to the market, our office actually instructed 5% more properties in June this year than in June 2025.
Stroud recorded the highest increase in new instructions in June, with 29% more properties coming to market than in June last year. Sales agreed also increased over the same period, rising by 14% across the patch—around half the rate of new instructions.
WR1 and WR2 experienced similar growth in both new instructions and sales agreed during June. Meanwhile, WR3, WR4 and WR5 saw 12% fewer new instructions than in June 2025, while sales agreed increased by 17%.
This continuing trend, first seen last month, has contributed to Worcester recording its highest average sold property price of the year.
The average house prices above relate to the areas covered by The Property Centre only, comparing June 2026 against May 2026 (data source Rightmove).
