House Prices Around Your Area

Rightmove data shows a continued growth following on from last month’s trends. Based on the value of properties sold between April 2025 and March 2026, compared with the same period the previous year, average property prices have increased across most areas.

In March alone, patch data shows the number of agreed sales in Gloucester increased by 27%, with Longlevens continuing to stand out as a particularly desirable area, seeing a 42% rise.

In contrast, instructions with other agents fell slightly by 0.2%, compared to our own increase of nearly 50%. Our sales agreed figure is almost double the patch average, with the Longlevens and Abbeymead offices performing especially well.

Cheltenham has cemented itself as the highest-value area for the second consecutive month, despite average prices remaining steady year-on-year.

While nearly twice as many properties entered the market as were agreed for sale in March 2026, when comparing figures year on year, listings rose by just 3% whilst sales agreed YoY saw an increase of 28%. This highlights the clear strengthening of demand for property in this ever popular town.

Stroud recorded the highest percentage price increase among the four areas, rising by 3% compared to the same April to March period last year.

Across the area we cover, the gap between new listings and agreed sales is narrowing, driven by a 20% increase in sales agreed since March 2025.

Since March 2025, the Worcester areas we cover have seen a 4.5% increase in new listings, alongside an impressive 36% rise in sales agreed, further evidence of strengthening market activity.

The average house prices above relate to the areas covered by The Property Centre only, comparing 01/04/25 to 31/03/2026 against 01/04/2024 to 31/03/2025 (data source Rightmove).
