Gloucester Rental Price Increase Almost Double The Regional Average
Looking at last month's average rental price increases, the rise in Gloucester was almost double the average increase in the Southwest, while other areas showed a notable upward trend.

According to the latest figures from the National Office of Statistics (NOS), the average asking price of private rental properties continues to rise year on year.
Overall, the NOS shows a YoY rise of 5.8% across the whole of the South West, whilst in the West Midlands the average increase was slightly lower at 5.5%. The numbers below compare November 2025 against the same time last year and show the increases across the specific areas of Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stroud and Worcester.
