House Prices Around Your Area

Whilst we’ve seen a slight decline in the number of instructions, the volume of agreed sales continues to rise. With less competition on the market and a high likelihood of achieving a sale, now could be the ideal time to list your property if you’re hoping to move during the winter months.

Following last month's increase, the property market remains strong with further growth to a total increase of 13% .Demand across the city continues to push prices up here.

Figures show Cheltenham's market has begun to cool down, but prices continue to rise in this ever-popular town.

Whilst the decrease cited above relates to the whole of the Stroud property market, this hasn't been our experience. Across the properties instructed to sell by our Stroud office, we've seen average prices actually increase by 4% and a 67% increase in total sales.

Following on from last month's increase, our 2 Worcester offices continue to see growth in the number of instructions as well as an increase in the number of sales. Worcester's property market is truly thriving.

The numbers above relate to the areas covered by The Property Centre, comparing January to September 2025 with the same period last year (data source Rightmove).

Bussage is a highly desirable village on the outskirts of Stroud, known for its strong community spirit and picturesque Cotswold setting. It offers an ideal balance between rural tranquillity and everyday convenience, with excellent local schools, shops and amenities close by.

The neighbouring village of Eastcombe shares many of these qualities, offering additional community facilities and scenic views across the valleys, further enhancing the area’s appeal. The nearby Cotswold Way and surrounding countryside provide ample opportunities for walking and outdoor recreation, while Stroud town centre is just a short drive away, with its independent shops, cafes and renowned Farmers Market.

With convenient links to Cheltenham, Cirencester and the M5, Bussage and Eastcombe are ideal for those seeking a peaceful village lifestyle within easy reach of larger towns and cities.
