Company History
The Property Centre was established in July 1997 by our founding Partners, Steve Jones and Stuart Nash, who opened the Comapny's first office in Tuffley, Gloucester. Their philosophy of providing an exceptional customer experience by going above & beyond any local competitor meant that within eight months of opening in Tuffley, the Company was able to open its second office in the Quedgeley area of Gloucester.
Since then, the Company has continued to expand and now boasts a total of nine Sales and Lettings offices located across Gloucester, Stroud, Cheltenham and Worcester, as well as a Head Office in Gloucester.
In 2004, Steve and Stuart were joined by fellow Partner, Leon Broady when the Company expanded to incorporate a Financial Services division and a professional mortgage adviser can now be found in each of our nine branches. Further growth followed in 2009 with the addition of a Lettings & Property Management Service in every branch and Sales & Lettings Director, Simon Trippett, became a Partner in the Company in 2019.
Consistently Award-Winning
In 2009 the Company expanded again, mirroring its Estate Agency Sales operation with a Lettings and Property Management Service across all branches. In January 2019, Steve, Stuart and Leon were joined by Simon Trippett, who became a Partner in the business. Having been with The Property Centre for over 14 years, Simon has held several Estate Agency management roles during this time and brings his considerable experience in both Sales and Lettings to his new position as Partner.
Proudly independent and locally renowned, The Property Centre is a local independent estate agency, we take pride in the fact that we consistently win awards. Based on reviews from real buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants, we were named Best in County in both Gloucestershire and Worcestershire at the ESTAS Estate Agency Awards in October 2025, whilst our Cheltenham branch won their Grand Prix Award and was ranked Best Estate Agent Office in whole of the UK. We also won Gold at the Negotiator Awards in November 2025 for being the Best Estate Agent in the West Midlands and Silver for the South West region.
